2024 Logistics

Vehicles and trailers: They will be parked at the UEL campground for the event unless your team can bring a third person to move your vehicle around because our ability to move your equipment is limited. Each night we will be staying at a different location and a trailer will bring your gear around. Ideally This year the start location and the end location will be the same so no moving of vehicles is necessary.

Moving your equipment: We will be putting some limitations on the amount of equipment you can bring. We will only be bringing 2 or 3 sets of beach wheels. The best way to get your equipment around is to have your own shore crew. Each stop will have power and showers and a camping area. We will not be able to take your beach wheels, chairs, bbq, hull chalks or additional equipment.

There will be picnic tables and bbqs at each of the campgrounds.

List of what you can bring in the equipment trailer:

  • 2 x coolers <- if someone runs out of food or ice we can probably do a grocery store run
  • 2 x clothes bag
  • 2 x camping equipment
  • 1 x small toolbox
  • If you bring anything else prepare to have it left behind we probably will not have room for it.

The start location will be the UEL campground at:

54 Adolphustown Park Rd.
Bath, Ontario

Note that they might not respond to telephone or emails before May. Camping is already arranged so you do not need to pay to get in. Just say that you are with the Sailing Regatta. The park is the site of the original landing of the first group of United Empire Loyalists which took place on June 16, 1784.

When you arrive at the campground take the first road on the left and drive down to the end.
